Oh, WTF, Why Not?

Will…not…post…on…Michael…Jackson…Oh, what the hell, I’ll do it anyway…sigh. Regarding the late pop star, and his having lived in the proverbial interesting times, I confess I actually liked a lot of his music throughout his career. This morning I sat through a televised broadcast of his memorial, and my vile troythuluness actually found himself somewhat moved. Curiouser and curiouser…Earlier this week, as part of Troythulu’s Nu’z 1.15.67, I had posted about the possibility of that lovely bunch of wonderful pious pseudo-Christians, the Westboro Baptist Church, aka the Phelps clan, picketing Jackson’s funeral with their usual brand of insanely pathological hatred, in their own words:

Staples Center – Michael Wacko Jacko Jackson is in hell! 1111 S. Figueroa St WBC will be there to remind you to stop worshiping the dead. We will be there to tell you to Thank God for the death of this filthy, adulterous, idolatrous, gender-confused, nationality-confused, unthankful brute beast. What a bunch of freaking psychos! Either yours truly simply hasn’t been hounding the news as much as he should, or the security for the memorial was tighter than I had originally surmised, as I’ve seen nor heard nothing on the fulfillment of their diabolical plan as of yet. Whatever. I’ll keep an eye out for any news of mischief on the part of Fred Phelps and his merry inbreds, and will follow up on this post if there are any new developments on this front.
