I'm on a probably futile quest to try to bring a tiny oasis of sanity to a world getting crazier by the minute. But it's SO worth it!

I'm an amateur skeptic, a student, and a fractal art hobbyist. I am not a professional scientist, philosopher, paranormal investigator, journalist, or other accredited academic or researcher, but that's something I'm currently in the process of remedying.

Just a note: I generally try to avoid being a jerk, and I'll treat all commentors with the same level of civility they show to me. I can be a smartass at times, but I'll rein in my tone and keep it to a level appropriate to the situation.
