Fractals of the Midweek: A Tail of 3 Apps

This morning, I have for you three of my earlier images, not previously posted on this site, and each one rendered using a different app in the order I started using the apps.

First, of course, is one I generated using FD, the second, XaoS, and the third, MB3.

Over the next few weeks, I plan on posting more of those images not previously shown on this site, blasts from the past that have had at best very little airtime and have been metaphorically crying out for greater exposure, some of my old favorites…

I’m going through my older directories for images that might make good black light posters and which methods, like professional printing or hand-rendering, would be best used to make them.

Each of the apps produces a different ‘feel’ for the images it generates, and each has its own set of strengths and limitations. I still haven’t quite got the hang of doing animations in MB3, though it’s much easier with XaoS and its real time zooming ability…

Stay cool, and enjoy your Wednesday, peeps.

About Troythulu

I seek to learn through this site and others how to better my ability as a person and my skill at using my reason and understanding to best effect. I do fractal artwork as a hobby, and I'm working to develop it to professional levels, though I've a bit to go till I reach that degree of skill! This is a crazy world we're in, but maybe I can do a little, if only that, to make it a bit more sane than it otherwise would be.

Comments are golden, but I'll not tolerate attempts to defecate on this blog's online rug -- I have cats for that, thank you.
