Fractals of the Week: Four (not so) Furry Fractalizations
G’day, O wily readers… This post marks the end of my use of saved reusable parameter sets for Fractal Domains to generate images.
I find that a large part of the appeal of an image is its uniqueness, and even if a manipulation of a previous work, it should have some significant differences with it, at the very least a different color map if not a tweaking of some other major factor of the final rendered image’s appearance, so, no more templates…
…At least not for FD, since it’s now relatively easy to adjust settings, and unique images are just so much more fun.
I’ll be abandoning the use of parameter files for MB3 too, once I master the software.
Also, I’m only going to post one fractal entry per week, this one, to give those of you not fractal fans a wee bit less to delete from your inboxes
though I will be posting more images here. These below are a selection of some of my favorite recent FD images… Note the similarities of the first two images, both created from the same file…
Stay cool, stay cosmic!
