Fractals of the Week: Cats and Dogs Living Together…Total XaoS!

G’day, peeps. The last couple of weeks have been busy, and I seem to have been slacking off on the release of new images. Well, here’s where I fix that. I’ve gotten into a very strange habit: To keep things fresh and interesting I’ve been alternating between the 3 fractal generation apps I have using the roll of a six-sided die, and just earlier this evening, I’ve downloaded the zip file for a fourth app which should be fun to unpack and fool around with. So future choices of apps may be randomized with a 4-sided die instead! Here, I include some of the more bizarre images produced using XaoS, and I hope that you see…things in them that may not be apparent at first glance. Let me know what these suggest in the comments thread! Stay cool, metaphorically at least, and have much cosmosity!

About Troythulu

I seek to learn through this site and others how to better my ability as a person and my skill at using my reason and understanding to best effect. I do fractal artwork as a hobby, and I'm working to develop it to professional levels, though I've a bit to go till I reach that degree of skill! This is a crazy world we're in, but maybe I can do a little, if only that, to make it a bit more sane than it otherwise would be.

  1. Have you ever read The Dice Man. I read it back in the 80′s and my friends and I really got into the dice rolling for many decisions. It can be addictive. :)

    Also…

Fire and brimstone coming down from the skies! Rivers and seas boiling! Forty years of darkness! Earthquakes, volcanoes…The dead rising from the grave! Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together… mass hysteria!

…I like the blue one :)

    • I’ll read that! I’ll try not to go overboard with the dice rolling, though. Might want to use it for decisions not involving very risky consequences of failure! I just opened that new fractal app, BTW, and I’ll let you know if I’m impressed with it or not.

Comments are golden, but I'll not tolerate attempts to defecate on this blog's online rug -- I have cats for that, thank you.
