The Weekly Gnuz & Lynx Roundup: 2014/07/06

Marty Feldman en Mies Bouwman in Mies en scène

G’day, and happy Sunday. This morning, I’m getting to bed earlier than usual, as there’s a visit to the comic shop due later this afternoon. The storm Friday morning passed us by so quickly that there was little of any damage at all reported in my area, though my thoughts and best hopes go out to those further up north on the East Coast who are taking a beating from hurricane Arthur. Personally, I’d like there to be a hurricane named ‘Igor,’ or even ‘Eyegor’ via Marty Feldman’s character from Young Frankenstein, but that’s just the comedy/horror movie fan in me…

I’ll be bringing very little on my trip tomorrow, save a few choice books and the ‘Pad, and I’ve been a bit delayed in reading ‘Indra’s Pearls’ for Monday’s post on the Algorithm, but I’ll manage. I’m toying with the idea of moving my entire blogging schedule over to days on the work week only, as slow as traffic on the weekends typically is. I’ll announce the outcome of that pondering in the next edition of this installment, and carry on from there whatever I decide.

The kittens are doing well, though they’ll be without their daddy for a few hours this coming evening, especially the ebil tricksy Eccles and the diabolical King of the Fluffies himself.

Stay well, and be safe this week.

About Troythulu

I seek to learn through this site and others how to better my ability as a person and my skill at using my reason and understanding to best effect. I do fractal artwork as a hobby, and I'm working to develop it to professional levels, though I've a bit to go till I reach that degree of skill! This is a crazy world we're in, but maybe I can do a little, if only that, to make it a bit more sane than it otherwise would be.
