Moons Over My Spammikins

You know, an eldritch horror like myself can find some of the most interesting things when cleaning out this blog’s spam-box, and here are a couple of little gems, the first a run-of-the-mill comment, and next a trackback that Akismet decided to forward to moi for my amusement. The text of both of these is presented in full, with only links redacted:

The first comes from an obvious ‘bot that gives its pseudo-handle as Weston Montney:

My brother suggested I would possibly like this blog. He used to be totally right. This submit actually made my day. You can not believe simply how much time I had spent for this information! Thank you!

And this one was apparently written by a bot with a few wires crossed, a guy in a state of severe psychological distress, and/or a death-metal rocker on some heavy spice — whichever — providing the rather evocative handle of nuclear war 2012:

Call the god of Mars!!! Wake up your hate and fury I am raising flag of death With the sign of victory We have to say “enough” To the liar on the cross So scream with me aloud!!! This is the war That you were asking for!!! This is the war Total war!!! War for freedom War for pride War for future For all of us War for life And worthy death For you and me This is the war!!! [Lead: Mauser / Peter] Call the god of hell!!! Release all fire demons Show you fists and teeth And join the troops of death!!! We have to say “enough” To the scared behind the mask So scream with me again!!! This is the war Total bloody war War!! Video Rating: 4 / 5

The second, though just as coherent as the first — well, maybe a wee bit less, and much more aggressive in tone — sounds almost, but not quite, like lyrics I vaguely remember hearing from the band Anthrax, and much more interesting if a bit disturbing even for me. I find spam to be much more fun than I used to, and such a great source of material. I highly recommend it’s use… Cross my tentacles and hope to undie.
