Fractals of the Week: Winter Wallpaper Edition

I’ve a couple of wallpapers for this week, while I’m engaged in experimenting with rarely-to-never-before used settings for an upcoming Mandelbulber tutorial, wrapping up a discussion of basic settings so I can get to more advanced settings, and then the fun parts, like working with Mandelboxes, IFS formulas, and hybrid fractal types. I’ve decided not to caption these images, and am offering them free of charge for your use. Click to embiggen.

All JPEG, PNG & GIF images in this post are original works by the author, created by

way of XaoS, Mandelbulber, Fractal Domains, Ultra Fractal , and Mandelbulb 3D and are copyright 2014 by Troy Loy.

    1. I kind of got the idea for the colors of these from examples I’ve seen of traditional Indian dress, particularly for the blue one, and the red from bridal costumes.
